is a holistic Non-Profit community-based
organisation in the Northern KwaZulu-Natal under uPhongolo Local
Ward 14 Candover. The organization was established October2016 and
registered 19-May 2017. Like many community-based NPO’s in South
Africa, Pongola Community Centre
seek to play a
fundamental role in uplifting impoverished Candover and the surrounding
communities. The organisation focus mainly in Poverty Alleviation,
Areas of Health
(HIV/AIDS Home Base Care),
Alcohol & Substance Abuse as well as Social Empowerment. With
the aid of
dedicated fulltime volunteers and fulltime staff, Pongola
Community Centre work tirelessly to reach out
ever-increasing number of men, women and
children of varying ages brought forward by common and varying issues
